10. Do you watch R-rated movies, sexy videos, or steamy cable channels for gratification?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you're lurking at the door of sexual addiction.

Because of the availability of pornography in recent years, there has been a tremendous increase in the addiction to pornography. Websites, cable TV and satellites have made porn accessible daily and with ease. As a result, the number of men struggling with sexual temptation and addiction has dramatically increased.

Manley Baptist Church wants to be a safe place for men who have struggled privately. God's Word offers excellent principles for addictions. This, with the support of a "band of men," allows a man to not struggle alone.

Our Mission Statement:
To equip men to be sexually pure in order to better serve and glorify God.

Every Man's Battle Support Group is a 12-week program. The book, Every Man's Battle, by Steve Arterburn and the accompanied workbook will be our format. The cost of the program will be the expense of these two books.

Topics include:

- Where you are right now
- How you got there
- Becoming a man of sexual integrity
- How to be accountable

At the end of the twelve-week course, each individual will have a detailed plan for sexual integrity.

An initial interview will be scheduled with Joe Hamlet, Minister of Family Life and Counseling.

Confidentiality: Because of the nature of sexual addiction, strict confidentiality is maintained. Group members are expected to keep confidential what is said in the group. The only grounds for breaking confidentiality, is if a group member is an endangerment to himself or another and if child sexual abuse is revealed.
