Making the
Difference
The
music and worship ministry of Manley Baptist Church presents a
variety of musical opportunities for people of all ages.
Children & Youth:
-
develop musical knowledge and skills;
-
learn about God through Christian instruction and
curriculum;
-
form friendships with others through participation in a
choir; and
-
contribute to the ministry of the church through
performances
Adults:
-
participate in meaningful experiences of worship and praise;
-
discover a place of service in the church;
-
develop relationships and enjoy fellowship with others; and
-
improve their musical knowledge and skills.

The Young Student Choir is called 4:44 and is led by Rebecca Marcum
on Sundays at 4:44 pm in Room 229. The choir is for
6th-8th Grades.

Cornerstone, "Helping
children build a foundation of worship". Cornerstone meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
from May through August. Children three years old
through 6th grade have fun while learning more about music
and
how it can be used for God's glory through graded choirs. The
curriculum includes music, lessons in theory, games, activities,
hymn studies, as well as biblical principles.

Ensembles
These groups are made up of active members
of our Celebration Choir and Praise Singers who desire to go
the
"extra mile". Membership is by audition or selection. Contact

Handbells
& Choir Chimes
We offer handbell and choir chime choirs
throughout the year depending upon interest and level of experience. |
|
Pageants
Our seasonal pageants are gifts to our community.
Volunteers spend countless hours writing scripts, building sets,
choreographing, sewing costumes, creating sound effects and rehearsing.
Whatever your talents, your help is always needed and appreciated. |
|
| Drama
We
offer a variety of drama opportunities for those gifted and
interested in acting. Also, one of the finest clowning groups around
is a ministry of Manley Baptist. Spirit Express shares
the gospel throughout our community and country, performing
for Olympic Events, festivals, etc.
