I sense there are a lot of God's children that are still looking for creative ways to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There are a few thoughts and a list of areas included here that may be considered as you seek to find a way to become involved in the Senior Adult Ministry of our great church".

PRAYER MINISTRY. There will be an opportunity for our senior adults to participate in a meaningful prayer ministry at three levels.

1. Morning Prayer Ministry. Choose a morning when you can spend an hour in the Prayer Room at manley church beginning at 9 AM
2. Prayer Chain: A list of people who will be available to be called when a special need or concern is made known. These will comprise a prayer chain that will respond in a prayer vigil.
3. Fast/Prayer Group: These are persons who will be committed to spend at least one day a month in prayer and fasting in behalf of our church and her many ministries.

HOMEBOUND & NURSING HOME MINISTRIES. A very special way to minister to a very special group of Manley church members. Get details about this ministry.

MISSIONS. God is calling out the church to a worlwide involvement in missions. Many have already responded to a definite involvment in what God is doing at home as well as abroad. Senior adults can and will go when given that opportunity.

HOSPITAL VISIT MINISTRY. Each of us need the love and the ministry care from others of the church family...especially from those of our own age...as we spend those days in the hospital. A team of senior adults will be available to go on a hospital visit when they are called on to do so.

FELLOWSHIP is a big part of the senior adult experience. We have quarterly breakfast meetings around a good meal and a special program for each meeting. And, with the Young At Hearts group there is a schedule of activities that may interest you throughout the year, such as trips, picnics and other outings.
